Programme Timeline:  January - June, 2024

Building Greener is a free Dragon’s Den-style pitch programme delivered by Startup Discovery School, in collaboration with Islington council and funded by (Islington’s) Carbon Offset Fund. This is an exciting new programme for ambitious entrepreneurs working on innovative solutions to reduce carbon emissions from buildings within Islington and beyond. Are you an Islington-based entrepreneur looking for an opportunity to pitch to pilot your innovation in Islington? 

Does your business fit the following criteria?

• You're an ambitious company, working on an innovative solution to one of Islington's Innovation 2030 priority areas (specifically: the decarbonisation of residential, commercial and industrial buildings and infrastructure)
• If successful, your business would have an opportunity to pitch for a pilot with Islington council
• You are able to operate locally within Islington and address local challenges
• You are able to commit to the full workshop and pitch commitments of the programme
